Using Artificial Intelligence to Augment Human Intelligence
This part felt like a good articulation of some thoughts about how intelligence augmentation software might actually work:
Consider a relatively banal example, such as Photoshop. Adept Photoshop users routinely have formerly impossible thoughts such as: “let’s apply the clone stamp to the such-and-such layer.”. That’s an instance of a more general class of thought: “computer, [new type of action] this [new type of representation for a newly imagined class of object]”. When that happens, we’re using computers to expand the range of thoughts we can think.

Yep, quotes and @mentions like @sigmavirus24 should work now!
I upgraded the underlying forums library, thredded.org to its latest version. Everything seems stable after deploy and database migration. Please report any issues you find.
It's up at https://twitter.com/intaug but I haven't set up any bots to tweet links, etc.
I might take the top threads each week from this forum and have it post links to those threads, or I might have it tweet external links. (Articles, etc., that have been linked in the forum.) I'm not entirely sure yet.
If anyone has suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
